The Alabama Black Belt Food Systems Alliance (ABBFSA) exists to strengthen the region's agricultural legacy while building a resilient future. Our mission is to expand markets for Black Belt products, empower farmers with access to land, capital, and infrastructure, engage youth through education and mentorship, and improve food access for families across the region.

By weaving together tradition and innovation, ABBFSA ensures that communities thrive, producers prosper, and future generations inherit a food system rooted in equity and resilience.
